Okay, we think we’ve got this right. The following table shows the number of rest days above or below regular rest for each team’s starting pitchers. We’re assuming that Jeff Suppan and Jeremy Bonderman pitch the next game — whenever it’s played. Beyond that, we’ll leave it to you to figure out the best scenario for the remaining games (game?). R stands for regular (4-day) rest, positive numbers indicate the number of days above regular rest and negative numbers are the days short of regular rest (we put an R for Suppan/Bonderman’s next start, though they are well above regular rest at this point). Got it? Neither do we.
